After driving for 3 and a half hours what meal do I want more than anything? Not lunch, not dinner, maybe brunch…nah…BREAKFAST! Breakfast is my most favorite meal of the day! Any type of combination; it could be eggs and pancakes, or hash browns and waffles. I love breakfast. Anyways…we took a drive down to Oregon and made a pit stop in Portland to grab a bite to eat. A couple of friends recommended we check out Flavour Spot, also known as Portland’s original “waffle sandwhich.” You may think we just drove down to Portland to grab one of the most delicious breakfast combos on the planet, but we were actually on our way to Seaside. Flavour spot offers a variety of sandwiches and many of the local “Portlanders” travel to get these sandwiches.

Turkey Havarti Bacon
One of them is called the “THB,” turkey, havarti, and bacon. Bomb! Another well-known “wafflewich” is the “MB9,” maple spread, bacon, and Canadian bacon. All I can say is that if Flavour Spots were located all over the country they would see the highest amount of traffic amongst college students at one and two in the morning and in the afternoon. First to fulfill the “Drunchies” and second to cure the hangover. The sandwiches are relatively cheap, and if there is any guy out their that doesn’t appreciate bacon, ham, turkey, or waffles …than…well … you must be a vegan.
